Internships

District Attorney Post Bar Interns November 2022

The Tarrant County District Attorney's Office oversees Summer and Post Bar Internships. Internships are available for the full or half of the summer. Summer internships are unpaid positions. 

Interns will see what it’s really like to be a lawyer, helping prepare for trial, review crime scene audio and videos, even participate in law enforcement and witness interviews. Interns will participate in lunch-and-learns, where interns listen to various speakers and learn more about the criminal justice system. And there will be time to observe various trials and visit the local jail.

Internships are open to law school students only.

Applicants are required to submit:

• A cover letter
• A resume
• An official transcript
• Three references
• Internship application form
