Tarrant County to host redistricting sessions
Tarrant County will host public input sessions in all four County Commissioner precincts through the month of October.
The four Tarrant County Commissioners Court precincts are in balance and do not need to be redrawn.
The Commissioners Court chose to start the redistricting process and decide at a later meeting whether to redraw the maps.
Here are the tentative public sessions.
- Oct. 12: A drawing session from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Family Law Center, 200 E. Weatherford St.
- Oct. 14: Public Input Session at Vernon Newsom Stadium, 3700 St. in Mansfield from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Oct. 18: Public Input Session at the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office – North Patrol Division, 6651 Lake Worth Blvd. in Lake Worth from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Oct. 19: Public Input Session during Tarrant County Commissioners Court Meeting, 100 E. Weatherford St., Fort Worth. The meeting starts at 10 a.m.
- Oct. 19: Public Input Session at Tarrant County Northeast Courthouse at 645 Grapevine Highway in Hurst from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Oct. 20: Public Input Session at the Resource Connection, Magnolia Room (Building 2300) at 2300 Circle Drive in Fort Worth from 6 p.m. to 8 pm.
- Oct. 21: Public Input Session at the Dan Dipert Career and Technical Center 2101 Browning Drive in Arlington from 6 p.m. to 8 pm.
- Oct. 26: Drawing Session Number 2 at the Family Law Center, 200 E. Weatherford St from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
