COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics for the Week of Nov. 13

November 11, 2021 - (Tarrant County) – Tarrant County Public Health has partnered with Arlington ISD to make COVID-19 vaccinations available at the Dan Dipert Career + Technical Center/Agriculture Science Center on Saturday, Nov. 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The site will have all three vaccinations, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer and Moderna, including the children’s and booster doses. Children five and older are eligible for the vaccination. Parents need to bring proof of the child’s age and their own ID for the vaccination. The vaccination is free.

“Getting vaccinated is one of the most effective tools we have in fighting COVID-19 and now that the pediatric vaccine for children ages 5 to 11 is available, even more of our residents will have access to this life-saving tool,” said Tarrant County Precinct 2 Commissioner Devan Allen. “I encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity to get vaccinated — it’s free; the process is easy; and we’ve made it conveniently accessible right here in the heart of Arlington.”
 
TCPH would like to bring a COVID-19 vaccination clinic to businesses, churches and organizations in the community who are interested in hosting a pop-up clinic. It’s easy and free to host a clinic. 

“Arlington ISD has been a great partner helping us with locations where we can provide the COVID-19 vaccinations,” Tarrant County Public Health Director Vinny Taneja said. “Getting vaccinated is still the best way to prevent getting sick with COVID-19. Even with more treatments on the horizon, it is better to have never been sick than to have to fight off the infection. Everyone should take this opportunity to get a shot.”
