Tarrant County Public Health Reports Eight COVID-19 Deaths
Jan. 6, 2022 - (Tarrant County) - Tarrant County Public Health (TCPH) today reports eight COVID-19 deaths. The deceased include a man from Southlake exceeding 90, a man from Arlington exceeding 90, a woman from Fort Worth in her 80s, a man from Euless in his 80s, a man from Mansfield in his 70s, a man from Fort Worth in his 70s, a man from Fort Worth in his 60s and a woman from Fort Worth in her 60s. All had underlying health conditions.
Tarrant County now has 5,057 confirmed deaths from the COVID-19 virus and 371,640 people have recovered.
COVID-19 causes respiratory illness with cough, fever and shortness of breath and may lead to bronchitis and severe pneumonia.
