Tarrant County Public Health Reports Six COVID-19 Deaths
Jan. 7, 2022 - (Tarrant County) - Tarrant County Public Health (TCPH) today reports six COVID-19 deaths. The deceased include a woman from Saginaw exceeding 90, a man from Haltom City in his 80s, a woman from Mansfield in her 60s, a man from Sansom Park in his 50s, a man from Fort Worth in his 50s, and a woman from unincorporated Tarrant County in her 30s. All had underlying health conditions.
Tarrant County now has 5,063 confirmed deaths from the COVID-19 virus and 371,941 people have recovered.
COVID-19 causes respiratory illness with cough, fever and shortness of breath and may lead to bronchitis and severe pneumonia.
