Tarrant County Public Health Reports 13 COVID-19 Deaths

Jan. 3, 2022 - (Tarrant County) - Tarrant County Public Health (TCPH) today reports 13 COVID-19 deaths. The deceased include a woman from Fort Worth who has exceeded 90, a man from Grand Prairie who has exceeded 90, a man from Fort worth in his 80s, a woman from River Oaks in her 80s, a woman from Everman in her 80s, a woman from Arlington in her 80s, a woman from River Oaks in her 70s, a man from Fort Worth in his 60s, a man from Arlington in his 60s, a woman from Grand Prairie in her 50s, a man from Fort Worth in his 50s, a woman from Arlington in her 30s and a woman from North Richland Hills in her 30s. All had underlying health conditions.

Tarrant County now has 5,036 confirmed deaths from the COVID-19 virus and 369,746 people have recovered.

COVID-19 causes respiratory illness with cough, fever and shortness of breath and may lead to bronchitis and severe pneumonia.
