Introduction to the Teen Videofest 2020 competition
You're clever. You're competitive. Maybe a SJW* in the making?
But you're smart, a social media guru and you know how to use the videocamera on your phone, and even a camcorder!
You're gonna love Teen Videofest!
Teen Videofest (TVF) is a contest for tech-savvy types like you who want to make a positive difference in the world --or at least around where you are.
TVF gives you a chance to do this by challenging youth like you throughout Tarrant County to create short videos with meaningful and relevant health messages for your peers.
Topics for these health messages are the kinds that are in the news now, and are affecting your fellow teens --maybe even someone you know. They are also based on major health risk factors for youth identified by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Teen Videofest is your chance to speak out -- through video -- on an aspect of teen health that matters. Your video message can make a difference in the lives of your fellow teens.
Let us help you make that happen.
We can also visit your school or class to tell you more and answer any questions.
