Security in Criminal Courts, Civil Courts, Family Courts, Juvenile Courts, Parole Hearings, and Attorney General Courts is the responsibility of the Judicial Services Division. This task is carried out by assigned Bailiff's. The Texas Government Code allows some elected Judges to hire Bailiffs for their specific court. They wear a similar uniform to the Sheriff's Deputies.
The Bailiffs are entrusted to maintain the integrity of the Court and allow all members of the Court family, the Judiciary, and Jury members to perform in a safe and protected environment. Our goal is to treat everyone involved in the court process with integrity and professionalism.
