Kevin Foster Collection

Summary: Donor is a retired sergeant of the Fort Worth Police Department and currently works as a sergeant of the Texas Christian University Police Department. He is also a researcher of law enforcement in Tarrant County. He has served as the Research Director of the Fort Worth Police and Firefighters Memorial since 2001 and as Chairman of the Memorial Committee since 2009. In addition, he has been a volunteer researcher for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial, the Texas Peace Officers Memorial and the Texas Sheriff's Association's "Lost Lawman Memorial." He currently serves as the Chairman of Texas' "End of Watch Program." Foster is also the co-author of Written in Blood: The History of Fort Worth's Fallen Lawmen, Volume 1, 1861-1909 with local author and historian Richard Selcer. Foster donated the following digital images, letters, and subject files regarding the history of law enforcement in Fort Worth.
