Kennedale Historical Society Collection

HISTORICAL NOTE

The Kennedale Historical Society is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 2011. Their mission is to identify, collect, and preserve items relevant to Kennedale history as well as promote study and research of the city’s history. They provide a variety of educational programs and outreach events, and they maintain a website for sharing their research.  The Kennedale Historical Society began donating materials to the Tarrant County Archives in 2023. Kennedale newspapers and other items are housed at the Kennedale Public Library.

SCOPE AND CONTENTS

The Kennedale Historical Society Collection contains digital images of photographs, photographs, scrapbooks, and yearbooks. The materials, related to Kennedale community members and its history, are dated from the early 1900s to 2020.
