Summary: Donated an eight-page collection assembled by donor concerning her father, Joseph Moses Ligon. Mr. Ligon was involved in the history-making oil well discovery on the Burk Burnett farm belonging to S. L. Fowler in 1918. A native of Alvarado, Ligon lived in Fort Worth at various times. He was in the cattle business north of the city.
