HURST - PIPELINE ROAD WIDENING
Project Cost: $9,335,340
Requested Funding: $5,540,000
Estimated Completion Date: Summer 2026 (for all phases)
This project will widen Pipeline Road from an undivided four lane road to a divided four lane road between Billie Ruth Lane and Brown Trail. This widening will include right turn lanes at warranted intersections. This section will be an important east-west route during the reconstruction of the Airport Freeway. The project is being constructed in four phases. The City has completed the first two phases between Billie Ruth Lane and Lorean Branch Bridge. Phase 3 construction for Lorean Branch Bridge eastward to Harrison Lane is underway and to end in Fall 2023. Phase 4 from Harrison Lane to Brown Trail is under design.
