Hope Adams, EHE Program Manager

Hope is passionate about ending the HIV epidemic, health equity, and fighting systemic discrimination. Hope obtained her Master in Public Health from the Colorado School of Public Health in 2017. Before moving to the Fort Worth area, Hope worked as a Health Educator for the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. In her role as Health Educator with Tarrant County, Hope created Rethink Positive, a workshop-based program that aims to combat HIV stigma at the institutional level. Hope was born and raised in Colorado and is loving living in Texas.

Bryan Tyler

   

Bryan-Tyler Orr, EHE Epidemiology Specialist

Bryan is a health educator with a passion in reducing barriers to care for those living with HIV. Since being diagnosed at 20, Bryan has shaped his career to be in positions to create health systems that promote health equity and address social determinants of health. As a current MPH student at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Bryan plans on utilizing his strengths and real-life expertise to re-shape HIV prevention and care to improve the quality of life of those impacted by the HIV Epidemic.

Aneesh Bhandari

   

Aneesh Bhandari, EHE Care Coordinator

Aneesh is a Social Worker that is currently working for Tarrant County Public Health as the Ending the HIV Epidemic Care Coordinator. His current role is to coordinate medical care for HIV prevention or care. This role also includes identifying barriers of care, providing social support, and connecting his patients to resources. He was inspired to become a social worker when he learned that social workers help people through difficult times in their life. His prior work experience includes working in a drug court rehabilitation program that had him directly providing case management to people struggling with mental health and chemical dependency issues. Aneesh has been working in HIV/AIDS healthcare for 4 years.

Jessica Espinoza

   

Jessica Espinoza, EHE Community Service Aide

Jessica is a Community Health Worker for Ending the HIV Epidemic with Tarrant County Public Health. She has been working in the field for over 4 years. She has a background on the Treatment side of HIV as a ADAP Enrollment Representative. Jessica developed a passion for this line of work by helping people within the Spanish-speaking Latiné community. A mom of two boys that keep her informed about everything that has do with video games and the history of Godzilla.

Elizabeth Fawcett

Elizabeth Fawcett, EHE (Interim) Health Educator

Beth is a Medical Sociologist with a background in equity and diversity and public health. She earned her PhD in Sociology at the University of North Texas (Denton), and her Master of Public Health at University of North Texas Health Science Center (Fort Worth). In her role as (Interim) Health Educator, Beth finds particular inspiration and hope in working towards Ending the HIV Epidemic. She is passionate about education to destigmatize HIV/AIDS, working with providers to create greater awareness for PrEP, and reaching those hard-to-reach populations that are often most impacted by social determinants of health.
