Inquire About a Property Tax Refund

Taxpayers can verify if there has been an update to their account that may have created a refund. Inquire through email at taxrefund@tarrantcountytx.gov. There is no cost to inquire. There is no limit to the number of inquiries a person can make regarding a refund.

Taxpayers who are aware of a change to their account may inquire 90 days after the change is made to verify a refund will be issued.   

An overpayment does not necessarily indicate a refund, but taxpayers may inquire about an overpayment on their account by emailing taxrefund@tarrantcountytx.gov.
